After the project is registered, in case there is any changes of the project activities different from details in the PDD, project participants shall inform TGO before request for carbon credits certification.

Type of post-registration changes
Changes are classified into 3 types as follows:
1) Generic alteration are changes that do not affect the amount of GHG emission reduction, for example;
- Change of project developer
- Change of project owner
- Change of coordinator
- Change of credit period
Remarks: The project can change the credit period but must comply with the conditions of the credit period criteria, when the credit period is changed, the credit start date of the project must not exceed 2 years from the next day after that date of registration.
2) Changes that affect the amount of GHG emission reduction or sequestration but not requiring re-validation is changes that affect the amount of GHG emission reduction of the project but do not qualify for revalidation, for example;
- Modifications to project activity details (e.g., installation of a biogas upgrading system)
- Replacement of project machinery or equipment (e.g., changing water pumps or electricity meters)
3) Change requiring re-validation are changes that significantly impact the GHG reduction or sequestration potential of the project, as stated in the PDD, which include:
- Addition of project activity/methodology
- The GHG emission reduction or sequestration potential qualifying the project as a large-scale project
- An increase of the GHG emission reduction or sequestration potential of more than 15%
- Change of the version of applied Methodology
- Modifications to the parameter monitoring methods beyond the options specified in the Methodology
- For project type 13, a reduction in project area by more than 15%
Project participants must clearly detail all changes in the Monitoring Report. To enable the VVB to review such changes, the revised documents and supporting evidence of the changes shall be submitted to the VVB and TGO.
Request for deviation
In the case where the implementation of activities of a registered project is different from what stated in the Project Design Document (PDD) only for the specific request for credit issuance, the Project Participant shall notify TGO for consideration and obtain the approval from TGO before the completion of the verification process. Such changes consist of:
- Change in the value of non-monitored parameter
- Change in the monitoring method
- Change in the equations used in the calculations
- Change in the constant value used in the calculation.
