The reduction of GHG will be verified in case of it is produced from the project which is registered with T-VER and through the criteria, as follow:
- Follow the T-VER process which in accordance with the relevant regulation, also it must be one of voluntarily process to reduce GHG in addition to the regulation.
- Follow the process of Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER)
- Monitor the GHG reduction and collect the data of T-VER project which is shown in the project proposal. If it is changed, it should follow the rules prescribed by TGO.
- Monitor and implement the mitigation plan
- Monitor the sustainable development goal
- Verified GHG must be calculated by T-VER Methodology as follows the project proposal
- Verification by Validation and Verification Body (VVB) who is registered with TGO
Project developers should completely prepare the document related the verify of the carbon credit. For the monitoring report (MR) and Non-performance risk report (if any), it should be verified by VVB, then, Project developers should receive the Verification Report from VVB for being evidence to verify the carbon credit.
Project developers are required to receive a verification report from VVB in order to apply for the greenhouse gas (carbon credit) certification. The project developer shall prepare the SD & Safeguards Assessment Report to TGO for inspects and uses for consideration to certify the amount of greenhouse gases.
The project developer must submit an application and project documentation to request certification of greenhouse gas emissions (carbon credits) to the TGO as follows:
Document | Amount |
1. Application for certification of greenhouse gas emissions | 1 set |
2. Report on monitoring and evaluating the amount of greenhouse gases (Monitoring Report: MR) (verified by external assessors) | 1 set |
3. Verification Report (VVB is issued) | 1 set |
4. Excel file for calculating the amount of greenhouse gas emissions of the project | 1 set |
5. disc or data recording device (In case of sending by post) | 1 set |
